Micro crimps ("micros") are an ideal tool to train maximum finger strength. 

This is the complete set of sizes 6, 8, 10 and 12 mm to decrease the size gradually. 

Always use open hand or half crimp for training.

We are using solid wood to make our holds, there are 2 holes drilled for 5mm screws and a steel washer in each hole so the screws don't damage them. The screws come in perfects sizes with the holds, so you don't need to buy them extra ;)
